Man's Body Found On Botanic Avenue
A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a man's body outside a bookmakers on Botanic Avenue in Belfast.
According to police, the body was found just after 05:00 this morning. They are treating the case as murder.
A man has been arrested and is helping police with their enquires.
Botanic Avenue has been closed to traffic and pedestrians between University Street and Shaftesbury Square. It is expected to remain closed for several hours while forensic examinations are carried out. Botanic train station is also currently closed.
Police are urging anyone who was in the Botanic area in the early hours of Thursday morning to contact them at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Man Wanted In Lithuania Arrested In Magherafelt
The PSNI have arrested a 23-year-old man in Magherafelt wanted in Lithuania to face charges of human trafficking. The man was arrested by officers from the Police Service's local policing team in Magherafelt, with assistance from the International Policing Unit. He is expected appear before extradition court in Belfast later today.

Death Of Kilkeel Man Being Treated As Murder
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Kilkeel. On Thursday, 21 March, police received a report of a concern for safety for a couple at a property in the Newcastle Road area of the town shortly after 12.50pm. On arrival, officers located the body of a man who was unconscious and not breathing.
