Man Found Guilty Of Nursery Rape

A 30-year-old man has been found guilty of the rape of three-year-old boy at a nursery in Scotland.

Mark Maclennan, of Bath, appeared at the High Court in Glasgow, where he was also found guilty of sexually abusing a girl on numerous occasions when she was aged 12 to 15, according to a report by the BBC.

He had also previously admitted possessing and taking indecent images of children. It is understood that thousands of images were found on a laptop computer that he had loaned to the nursery.

The nursery has not been named, but is said to have been in the Lochaber area.

It is understood that the crimes came to light when the three-year-old boy told his mother that something had happened at nursery.

Maclennan was remanded in custody for sentencing on 27 February.
