Four Arrested Over 2001 Murders

Police investigating the murders of two men in Hastings, East Sussex, in 2001, have arrested four men.

Jimmy Millen, 27, was shot four times at close range outside his home in Tile Barn Road in October 2001. He died later in hospital.

During an investigation into the shooting, police discovered that an associate of Mr Millen, Jason Martin-Smith, 28, had been abducted in August that same year. Mr Martin-Smith has never been found. Police believe that he was murdered.

On Wednesday, Sussex Police arrested four men in Hastings in connection with the murders.

Police said that its investigation was ongoing and confirmed that a reward of £10,000, offered in 2001 for information leading to a conviction, was still valid.
