Two Teens Arrested Following Attack In Islington

Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old cyclist was murdered in north London on Friday evening (27 February).

Alan Cartwright was stabbed in the chest in the attack in Islington.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police released CCTV footage of the attack on Tuesday.

The teens, aged 17 and 18, were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Two more charged over teenager's death
Two more people have been charged in connection with the murder of 14-year-old Martin Dinnegan, who was stabbed to death during a street fight in Islington last week. Sean Clarke, 20, from Holloway, north London and a 16-year-old youth, also from Holloway, are due to appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Monday, charged with murder.

Mobile Phone Murder Teens Released
Three teenage boys arrested in connection with the death of another teen killed in a row over a mobile phone have been released on bail. Rizwan Darbar, 17, was stabbed in West Ham Park in east London on Sunday as he listened to music with friends. He was taken to hospital, but died a short time later.

Third man arrested over shooting
Police have confirmed that a third man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of two teenagers at a McDonalds restaurant. The 18-year-old is being questioned at a south London police station. The two youths both aged 17 were shot by a gunman at the restaurant in Brixton on September 28.

Man charged following Cornwall body find
A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a man's body in a block of flats in Newquay in Cornwall. Police were called to a flat in Tower Road in the town around 9:40pm on Tuesday night, following reports of a stabbing from an ambulance crew. Officers found the body of a 21-year-old man in the flat.

CCTV Images Released In Pub Attack Appeal
Police in Surrey have released CCTV images of three men they wish to question after a man was punched to the ground in a violent attack. According to officers, the 21-year-old victim - who also had glasses smashed over his head in the attack - suffered serious head injuries after the assault in the Priory in Bell Street, Reigate.
