Police appeal for information on missing man |
|
Police in Belfast have reissued an appeal for information on a 21-year-old Holywood man missing since New Year's day.
Martin Kelly, from Kinnegar Drive in Hollywood was last seen on January 1st after spending the afternoon watching football in a bar with friends.
He is believed to have stayed in Pat's bar in Garmoyle Street after his friends had left, and remained there until around 7.10pm chatting to other customers.
Mr Kelly is described as being around 6ft 1in tall, of slim build and with short black hair.
His mother and sister appeared at the press conference to make an emotional plea for information.
Detective Inspector Jeff Smith made a direct appeal to Martin Kelly asking him to get in touch with family or police.
He asked for anyone who may have seen Mr Kelly at any other nightspot in the city after 7.10pm on New Year's Day, in particular he appealed to taxi drivers to come forward if they remembered bringing him to any other location that evening.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police at Musgrave Station on 0845 600 8000.
