Fresh probe launched to find Devlin murderers |

Detectives in west Belfast are launching a fresh appeal into the murder of father-of-six, Gerard Devlin on February 3, 2006.
Gerard Devlin was fatally stabbed when he returned to the Whitecliff Parade area of west Belfast to collect his children who were going to stay with him for the weekend.
Police are aware that there were a number of local people present in the Ballymurphy area when the attack happened, and are appealing for them to come forward with any information, which could assist the investigation.
A police spokesman said that these people hold vital information in finding those responsible for his murder and have asked for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information which may be of use to the inquiry, to contact them on 0845 600 8000 and ask to be put through to the Gerard Devlin Investigation Team.
