Police search continues at raided house |
|
Anti-terrorism are continuing to search a house at the centre of a raid conducted because of an alleged chemical weapon plot.
The raid was conducted at a house in Forest Gate in east London on Friday, but so far, no chemical devices have been found.
Two brothers - Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23, and Abdul Koyair, 20 - were arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism.
They have denied the charges.
Mr Koyair is being held at Paddington Green police station in central London and has been questioned by police.
Mr Kahar was shot in the shoulder during the raid and was released from hospital on Sunday. Police are still waiting to question him.
There has been much speculation surrounding the circumstances of the shooting of Mr Kahar.
The Metropolitan Police have not confirmed that they fired the shot, nor confirmed that a warning was given.
A spokesperson said that it was "inappropriate" for them to comment when the incident was being investigated by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
A report in 'The Times' claimed that an officer denied that he had deliberately fired a shot, but said that his gun had gone off during a struggle.
Claims that Mr Kahar had been shot by his brother were dismissed by his solicitor, Kate Roxburgh as "absolute nonsense".
Scotland Yard said that the raid had been carried out as a "precautionary measure" and was not linked to the London bombings in July 2005.
