Teenager in court over rape |
|
A Belfast court has today heard how a teenager raped and robbed a schoolgirl, then phoned her mother to tell her what happened.
Michael Sean Quinn, 18 of Glasvey Drive, Twinbrook, allegedly rang the girl's mother saying he “enjoyed raping your girl”.
Mr Quinn has denied four charges of robbery, four of false imprisonment, one of indecent assault and two charges of rape.
A 17-year-old also appeared alongside Quinn. The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has denied two charges of aiding and abetting the alleged rapes.
It is understood the suspected attack took place on 6 August 2005, at the forecourt of a filling station and the Colin Glen golf centre in Blacks Road, west Belfast.
The prosecution also revealed Quinn already pleaded guilty to the charges of robbery and false imprisonment.
The case continues.
