Teenager shot in drive-by shooting |

A 16-year-old boy has been injured in a drive-by shooting in Manchester.
The incident happened around 2:30am on Friday in the Moss Side area of the city.
It is believed that the teenager had been on Hartington Road when a number of shots were fired at him from a passing dark-coloured car.
The boy suffered a minor injury to his leg and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
Officers are currently at the scene and inquiries are on-going. Patrols have also been increased in the area in order to provide reassurance to the public.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw a dark car in the Hartington Road at this time, to contact them.
