Four In Court Over Christopher Elliott Murder

Four men are due to appear in court today charged with the murder of a man, whose burning body was found in woods in Leeds, two years ago.

A murder hunt was launched after the body of Christopher Elliott, 39, was discovered in Ravenscar Walk, Roundhay, on 20 November 2006.

It had been reported at the time that he had been taken from his home in Borrowdale Crescent earlier that day.

A post mortem examination found Mr Elliott – also known as Chalky - died from several heavy blows to the head.

Marlon Small, 25, Lee Elliott, 29, Anthony Pyke, 26 and Livingston Fleming, 48, are due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court later.

Alan Walker has already been jailed in connection with Mr Elliott’s murder.

He was sentenced to five years after being convicted of assisting an offender last January.
