'Significant Reduction' In Crime Across Northern Ireland

The PSNI have recorded a "significant reduction" in crime across all districts in Northern Ireland in the last year.

Deputy Chief Constable Chris Todd welcomed the decrease in recorded crime, but also raised over the service's ability to "repeat such a strong performance" without finding sustainable funding.

PSNI Names Woman Found Dead In East Belfast
A woman found dead at a house in east Belfast on Wednesday, 15 May, has been named by the PSNI as Kathryn 'Kat' Parton. A murder investigation has been launched into the death after Kathryn's body was discovered in a house in the Madrid Street area. The 34-year-old had suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

PSNI Welcomes Sentencing Of Man And Woman In Craigavon
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of a man and woman at Craigavon Crown Court for a number of drugs-related and other offences. Donatas Kupstys (28) pleaded guilty to two counts of cultivating cannabis, two counts of dishonestly using electricity, driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
