SF Reshuffles Assembly Team
The Assembly's second largest party, Sinn Féin, has reshuffled its front line team at Stormont.
High-profile party member Mitchel McLaughlin is set to stand down as Chair of the Finance and Personnel Committee, which holds the department - led by DUP Minister Sammy Wilson - to account.
Mr McLaughlin's position will be filled by West Belfast MLA Jennifer McCann, however, he will remain the party's spokesman on economic and financial matters.
Sinn Féin Chief Whip Caral Ni Chuilin said: "He will now be able to enter and shape the economic debate without the restriction of chair of a committee restricting his input."
Ms McCann's Vice Chairmanship of the Enterprise, Trade and Investment Committee will be given to Lagan Valley MLA, Paul Butler.
Mr Bulter will subsequently stand down from the Assembly Commission, and be replaced by Pat Doherty.
