Child Swine Flu Case Revealed
A pupil at a national school in Co Mayo who is suspected of having caught swine flu is being treated at home.
If it is confirmed, the seven-year-old child will bring to 16 the number of cases in Ireland.
This includes two new cases that have been reported in the last 24 hours.
The Department of Health says all public health protection measures are being taken.
The parents of the pupils of his school at Castlebar and those who have been in contact with the child are being contacted.
It seems that the school is going to be closed.
The World Health Organisation, which recently raised the level of pandemic alert to Phase 6, has registered over 39,000 cases of the virus in 83 countries. There have been 167 deaths.

'Sadness' As Swine Flu Death Revealed
The North has suffered its first swine flu fatality. The woman died last night having been previously diagnosed with swine flu. She passed away in hospital and it is understood she had an underlying health condition.
