Florida Murders Suspect Named

Detectives in the U.S have named the 16-year-old arrested in connection with the murders of two British men in Florida.

Shawn Tyson has been charged with two counts of murder.

James Kouzaris, 24, from Northampton, and James Cooper, 25, of Warwick were on holiday together. They were found shot dead early on Saturday in the Newtown area of northern Sarasota, away from the known tourist area.

The men were found lying 50ft from each other in a street in the city of Sarasota.

Police said Tyson had previously been arrested for aggravated assault with a handgun earlier this month.

Sarasota police have reported no known link between the suspect and the victims.
