Man Murdered In City Centre Shooting
A 32-year-old man has died after being shot in Belfast city centre last night.
The attack happened at around 9.30pm in College Square North.
The victim, named as Christopher Macken, is believed to have been shot up to four times.
It is understood he may have been visiting a relative.
He was conscious when the emergency services arrived, but he died an hour later in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
The scene remained cordoned off this morning.

A man has died after shooting himself in a town centre in Sussex. The shooting took place in Southover High Street in Lewes around 7:20pm on Tuesday night. Police were called to the scene and found the man, who has not been identified, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, but later died.

Police were called to reports of a road accident between a car and a scrambler bike on Banks Road in Garston at about 20:45 last night. However, when police arrived at the scene they found an 18-year-old man with serious gunshot wounds.

Man's Body Found On Brighton Beach
A man's body has been found on Brighton beach. It is understood the discovery was made by a member of the public at around 9.25am on Sunday. A section of the beach was cordoned off to allow emergency services to attend the scene and recover the body. Police have said it is too early to establish how the man died, or if his death is suspicious.

Six Arrested Over Nottingham Street Brawl Death
Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
