18-Year-Old Charged With Teen's Murder

A teenager has been charged with the murder of an 18-year-old man, who was fatally stabbed outside a benefit concert for a stabbing victim.

18-year-old Armani Mitchell was arrested in Saturday in connection with the death of Joshua Redman who was attacked outside a club in Selly Oak, Birmingham, at around 11pm on Friday.

A post-mortem examination found that Redman had died from a stab wound to the heart.

Mitchell, of the Green, Northfield, is the second person to be arrested in connection with the death and is due to appear in court on Tuesday.

Four Arrested Over Fatal Nightclub Stabbing
Police investigating the suspected murder of a teenager at a Coventry nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning have arrested four men. Police reported that an 18-year-old was found dead outside Society Club in Tower Street at around 2am on Sunday (15 March).

Four Charged Over Coventry Nightclub Murder
Four men have been charged with the murder of a teenager outside a Coventry nightclub. Daniel Kirkwood (18) was found with serious knife wounds to his neck outside the Society Club in the early hours of Sunday morning. He died in hospital on the same day.

Knife Amnesty Launches In Teenagers Memory
Knife amnesty bins are to be placed in Clacton and Colchester in memory of teenager stabbed to death at a party. The Only Cowards Carry campaign was launched by Caroline Shearer following the death of her 17-year-old son, Jay Whiston, who was stabbed and killed at a party in Colchester in 2012.
