Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend.

Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

The 29-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court today (4 June).

Woman And Two Teens In Court Over Blaze
A woman and two teenagers are due in court today charged with murder, following a fire in Sheffield which killed three men. Michelle Lamb, 35, of Sheffield and a 14-year-old boy have been charged with murder, attempted murder and wounding, while a 17-year-old boy has been accused of murder and attempted murder.

Man Charged With Murdering His Father
A man is due to appear before Thames Magistrates' Court charged with the murder of his father. Suluk Ahmen, 31, of Huddleston Close, E2 has been charged with the murder of Jamir Ali, 79, on Sunday, 23 August, in Huddleston Close, E2. Ahmed is also charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Man remanded over park stabbing
A man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a girl in south-east London. Peter Anscombe, a 28-year-old healthcare assistant from St Mary Cray in Kent, appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court charged with the attempted murder of Carly Furness, 17, on Saturday.

Shot Belfast Man Recovering
A 35-year-old man has been shot twice in the leg inside a house in Twinbrook in Co Antrim on the outskirts of Belfast. A young girl and a woman were in the house in the Summerhill Drive area when the attack happened on Wednesday night. However, it is not believed that the man's injuries are life threatening.

Arrests Made Over 2006 Double Murder
Officers from Trident, investigating gun crime in the capital, have arrested one man and two women in connection with the murder of Jordan Jackson and Leyla Djemal-Northcott in 2006. Following new information, police used a specialist diving team to search the Regent's Canal for the murder weapon.
