Sussex Police Appeal For Missing 13-Year-Old

Sussex Police have appealed for help in tracing 13-year-old Frankie Catton, who is missing from Sompting.

The teenager was last seen at her home on the afternoon of Sunday, 23 August.

CCTV shows her at Three Bridges railway station on Monday morning.

She is described as white, 5'7" and of slim build with long light brown hair. She was last seen wearing black jeans with ripped knees with a black crop top and black Adidas trainers.

PC Mark Green said: "We are concerned about Frankie because of her age. We believe she boarded a train at Three Bridges Station and alighted at Balcombe Station and she could still be in that area. We have attended a number of addresses but are yet to gain information of her whereabouts."

Anyone with any information if asked to contact police on 101.

A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Shortly after 8pm on Sunday 12 August 2007, the 30-year-old mother was pushing a pram with her four-month-old daughter along Wigan Road, close to the Hulme Road junction.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
