Thousands Stolen From Bank During Burglary

Thousands of pounds have been stolen from a bank during a burglary in West Yorkshire.

The incident occurred on 3 September at a Barclay's branch in Town Gate.

A vehicle, believed to be Audi estate, pulled up outside the cash point at approximately 4:20am.

Three men were seen to exit the vehicle and tamper with the machine.

The suspects then forced their way into the bank and broke into the machine, stealing a quantity of cash.

The vehicle is thought to have been in the area for a number of hours before the incident with the registration plate GD14 HDO. However, police believe this is a false plate.

Det Insp Ryan Bragg said: "Enquiries are at an early stage, but we believe this vehicle was seen in the area in the time leading up to the burglary and would appeal for anyone who saw it to contact DC 5013 Jones at Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
