Man Jailed Over Indecent Images Of Children
A 41-year-old Carlisle man has been sentenced for numerous offences relating to indecent images of children and extreme pornography.
Rezaur Rahman, previously of Carlisle now living in Rochdale, was sentenced to a one year prison sentence suspended for two years; a supervision order for two years; curfew for 6 months between 8pm and 8am; 200 hours unpaid work; a Sexual Harm Prevention Order; Sex Offenders Register for 10 years; £2000 costs and £100 surcharge.
He was found guilty of:
• Eight counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo photograph of a child
• Three counts of possessing a prohibited image of a child
• Three counts of possessing extreme pornographic images portraying an act of intercourse / oral sex with a dead / live animal
DC Nicola Guy said: "Every indecent image of a child has been created through the abuse and exploitation of children, and anyone found viewing these images will face the consequences. We will always act on any information we receive in order to bring those who access illegal images to justice."

Police Hunt Man Who Skipped Bail On Indecent Images Charges
Police have appealed for help in tracing 59-year-old Ali Hasan Soyer, who failed to appear for bail after he was arrested on suspicion of possessing/making indecent images of children. Soyer is wanted for questioning by officers from the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command.

Rolf Harris To Face 13 Charges Over Child Sexual Abuse
Rolf Harris will appear in Westminster Magistrates' Court on September 23 to face nine charges of indecent assault and four of making indecent images of children, police have announced. Six of the charges relate to the indecent assault of a fifteen-year-old girl in 1980 and three to a fourteen-year-old girl in 1986.

School IT Manager Jailed Over Indecent Images
A IT Manager at a school in Wales has been jailed following the discovery of 400,000 indecent images of children. Swansea's Crown Court today heard how Jeffrey Gravell, 54, had stolen computers from Coedcae Comprehensive in Llanelli, and used them to download the pictures and videos at his home.
