My husband & I stayed here at the beginning of July to attend a family wedding. It really was a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble for Ailsa & Tom. the room was immaculate & the breakfast wonderful. As I was trying to stick to a Slimming World diet Ailsa's healthy breakfasts were ideal! Ailsa is so talented that I was able to bring back some lovely handmade gifts. It was lovely too, to hear Tom on the violin. What a wonderful place to stay & so convenient to tour anywhere in N Ireland. We will certainly recommend Avondale.

I was so impressed with Tom and Ailsa and their royal treatment that I didn't want to leave. Ailsa was so incredibly attentive to knowing things I liked from those wonderful Irish breakfasts, to the kind of books I liked. She was absolutely the epitome of a hostess. Tom was right there with her in every aspect of knowing the things that made me feel right at home. He's such an incredible musician and I was so honored to sit in his home and listen to him play the violin for me. Then, I was invited to a "shindig" where he was playing one night and I was in Heaven!!! If you're in the whole of County Tyrone, Avondale B&B is THE place to stay. I tell ya, you'll not want to leave. Tom and Ailsa will make you feel like family and you'll love them and their home. Yes, if I ever return to Ireland, you can bet I'll be staying with them again. Thank you, Tom and Ailsa for the incredible feeling of home you gave me. God bless.

I would definitely stay again and I will be recommending Avondale to anyone coming to the area. We stayed for 4 days and felt like we were staying with family!
