A1electrics are a small independent electrical wholesaler based in the UK, we have been around since 1986 (30 years in September 2016),
working out of the same warehouse today and owned by the same man that started it all those years ago, who, to this day still works in the business like any other employee as part of our small team.

Back then, we started as Fluorescents Plus, specializing in fluorescent lighting sales and repairs,
over the years we have evolved to keep up with ever-changing technology and customer demand.
That has led us to re-naming our business A1electrics, our new name better reflects the range of products we stock and is alot easier to spell.
Like the majority of decisions in this business, the new name was a joint decision between owner and every staff member.

Because we are a small team any product we stock is viewed by everyone, it is properly inspected and tested where possible.
If someone doesn't like a product for whatever reason, it is evaluated.
We also have a good relationship and supply local contractors, electricians and people who work in the electrical industry,
these people provide us with very valuable feedback about our products.
We only stock products we believe are fit for use and products that we would be happy to use ourselves.

We have a local store, where customers can walk in off the street and unlike larger electrical wholesalers, customers are free to walk around our entire warehouse and inspect all our products.
We are so confident in the quality of our products that we offer our local customers the chance to take products home and try them before they buy.

Customers First
If you don't buy anything or you spend £1000, every customer is treated equally.
We have a lot of knowledge about the products we stock, the owner has served for many years as an electrician and our employees all specialize in different areas.
If you give us a call, we are happy to answer any questions you might have about our products or any other queries you might have electrical related.
If we can't answer, we will try to put you in touch with someone who can.
