First Aid At Work Training Courses
The 3 day First Aid at Work course syllabus is an ideal course for lower risk businesses in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982 (as amended). Bisp Training is a Registered Awarding Centre for Ofqual Approved courses.
Emergency First Aid At Work Training Courses
The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course syllabus is an ideal certified course for lower risk businesses in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982 (as amended). Bisp Training is a Registered Awarding Centre for Ofqual Approved courses.
Paediatric First Aid Training Courses
The Paediatric First Aid courses can be 1 day or 2 day depending on your risk assessment. We recommend that anyone working with children or babies complete the 12 hour syllabus. Bisp Training is a Registered Awarding Centre for Ofqual Approved courses.
Sports First Aid Training Courses
Your Sport’s Governing body may have an Approved Codes of Practice (ACOP) in relation to Sports First Aid training, where a Sports First Aider is necessary. This Sports course gives the delegate the necessary knowledge to arrange equipment and call for the Emergency Services when and if required. All coaches where stated may need to hold a valid First Aid certificate.
Dental First Aid Training Courses
Resuscitation Council UK has strongly recommended that Dental professionals attend annual training lasting approximately 3 hours.
Anaphylaxis & Epipen Administration
This course gives the learner the ability to recognise a mild to severe reaction and take the correct action to treat this type of condition.
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
This short course is ideal for empowering staff with confidence and competence who may be required to respond to cardiac arrest situations where AED use is part of their first aid or medical role. Whilst prior basic first aid knowledge would be an advantage, it is certainly not essential. Delegates are required to be physically fit and have the ability to cope with study in English and practical activity.
Manual Handling
Manual Handling Awareness
This is a fascinating short course which provides an understanding of how your body is designed to operate within the principles of manual handling, and how we often work outside the design and inviting injury.
On completion of this course delegates should be able to identify risks to be considered when carrying out a manual handling assessment and demonstrate safer handling techniques. This course will focus on handling objects rather than people.
Manual Handling Foundation
This course provides an opportunity understand how your body operates safely within the principles of manual handling, and how we often work outside the design and inviting injury. This Foundation course allows in-company groups to focus on applying thir new knowledge to tasks and processes within their own organization.
Manual Handling Instructor & Assessor
This course will provide an understanding of the process of instructing others in sound manual handling techniques and the process of conducting manual handling risk assessments.
On completion of this course delegates should be able to prepare and deliver a manual handling awareness training package in-house and know how to carry out and record suitable and sufficient manual handling risk assessments.
Food Safety
Level 1 Award in Food Safety Awareness in Catering, Manufacturing or Retail
These qualifications have been developed to raise awareness of key food safety issues and to provide employees with an induction to food hygiene, prior to undertaking the Level 2 Award in Food Safety.
