Openhouse Festival, Free Tickets Giveaway!

The Coors Light Open House Festival has unveiled its full line-up for this year’s event and the Big List is all over it.
The five-day event will see more than 50 acts, including established international artists and local performers on the various stages in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter. Music genres featured in this year’s line-up include Americana, New-Folk, Irish Traditional, Bluegrass, Cajun and Punk-Blues
The festival begins on Wednesday September 23 and runs until Sunday September 27, and features the double Grammy award-winner Steve Earle (pictured).
The outspoken Earle of country music is a man not afraid to speak his mind. Political, brave, and dubbed the saviour of country music, Steve has just won two Grammys for his last album, Townes.
Steve appears on Sunday 27th September on the Main Stage, Custom House Square. Tickets are £25.
Besides English singer-songwriter Beth Orton and Bangor soloist Foy Vance who are featured inside, you can treat yourself to some English ‘new folk’ in Noah and the Whale, who have enjoyed Top Ten UK chart success with their single ‘5 Years Time’. They appear on Wednesday 23rd September.
What is sure to be one of the highlights of the festival is a special Ryan Adams' tribute night, featuring the talents of the brilliant Captain Kennedy, the much talked about Ten Gallon Hat & The Big Salute, and the Big Gig veterans Louisiana Joyride.
All three bands are worth going to see in their own right and more are to be added. This will be more feel-good than a free pillow and begins on Saturday 26th September at the 2nd Stage at Custom House Square at around 8.00pm.
Speaking of highlights, one of the most intriguing draws to the event will be the virtuoso sleazy hillbilly thrash punk-blues tunes of Bob Log III. The quite bizarre one man blistering band is as startling as he is brilliant, and this is one not to miss.

Even better yet, with the Big List, you could be getting in totally free! We have 10 tickets to give away for the Saturday night event, and all you have to do is answer the following question that is so easy, a relatively thick chimp could answer it.

What is the name of Steve Earle's last album?

We need you answers by the 18th of September, so send them to win@thebiglist.co.uk along with your name, address and phone number, and you'll be going free! Over 18s only, and prize not transferable.
