Senior Network Administrator Large Multinational

VANRATH are currently partnering with a large multinational manufacturing business. The organisation is well established with a strong technology focus. Currently they are in the market to recruit a technically strong Senior Network Administrator to join the technical team.

The role:

Reporting to the Group IT Services Manager the Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for the technical support of Group ERP, Email, Web, Anti-Virus and IT asset management systems.

The key duties will involve:

Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

Maintaining the Active Directory structure across the group network (Ireland & UK).

The ongoing support of 15 servers

The ongoing support of Win2008 servers

Backup Administration (Symantec Backup Exec and Veeam)

Anti-virus Administration (Symantec Endpoint Protection)

Email & Internet Administration (Exchange 2010)

Helpdesk Administration

General Win7/Win 8 Desktop Support

The Person

The ideal candidate with hold an IT degree and will have 5+ years experience in a technical or 3 years experience in a similar role, preference will be given to candidates with Cisco or Microsoft Certifications.

The Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills

Working knowledge of Server Hardware, Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, Exchange and Cisco networking

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business

A high degree of flexibility

A flair for technology and an enthusiastic approach to how technology can add value to the workplace.

A current driver's license and own transport is required
