Hays have been successfully retained by a market leading, Belfast based, specialist fit out contractor Portview, in their search, selection and recommendation of a site based Project Manager. Portview are a leading NI Contractor who specialise in refurbishments and fit-out services for the world's top luxury brands, completing high end residential/fashion and major, large scale stadia projects. Having completed high profile, prestigious projects throughout NI and the UK they have earned a reputation for the consistently high quality of their finished products and services and therefore maintain a strong order book for 2016/2017 with repeat business from blue chip clients. Your new role

The successful candidate will report directly to the Contracts Manager and must possess previous experience in project managing large, high-end retail fit out projects. You will have a proven track record in delivering to programme, revising as appropriate in order to meet client requirements profitably and to the highest standard. You will be responsible for ensuring resources are identified in a timely and efficient manner. Portview require their Project Managers to minimise any risk by ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to onsite and that all project related documentation is completed and retained. As a Project Manager you will be expected to facilitate site and client meetings ensuring that there is a complete understanding of the progress of the project at any given time.

What youll need to succeed

Due to location of client base and projected contract awards, applicants will be comfortable and willing to work throughout the UK on a weekly basis. You must have a full working knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations, take a commercial approach to Project Management with the ability to identify cost savings, and understand budget issues. It is essential that you are a highly motivated self -starter who takes complete ownership of the full project term. Furthermore you will have an ability to develop client relationships forging lasting repeat business and promoting the company brand and reputation.
