Waterford Employees Sue State

Ten Waterford Crystal employees, who lost their jobs during the factory's collapse, are to sue the Irish State after also losing their pension entitlements.

The workers say more than €2.5m of their pension funds were wiped out following the firm's collapse.

The workers claim the Government failed in its duty under European Law to better protect their pension entitlements.
