NI Water 'Sorry' For Portglenone Delays
NI Water has apologised to residents in Co Antrim after encountering "unforeseen ground conditions" during infrastructure upgrades.
The ongoing work on a section of road between Clady and Portglenone is now expected to be completed by 14th June.
As a result of the delay, NI Water has now thanked residents affected by the work for their patience and apologised "in advance" for any inconvenience the extension may cause.
The upgrade work represents a "significant investment in the local infrastructure" and is "essential in order to meet our continued goal of improving sewage services across Northern Ireland," it said.
NI Water also moved to reassure residents that it will work closely with DRD Road Service and other public bodies to ensure the programme of work is delivered in a way that causes as little disruption to the surrounding community as possible.
