Giants aim for 13th successive home win

The Belfast Giants are aiming for their 13th successive home win when they face the Sheffield Steelers on Friday night.

With the Giants a tremendous 21 points ahead of the opposition, Dave Whistle's team seem certain to succeed the Steelers as Superleague champions.

However, while the Steelers have yet to reproduce the form of last season, they are unlikely to be underestimated by the home side after having eight put past them in a previous league game this season.

The only major team news for Friday night’s match will be the return of Mark Cavallin between the sticks for the Giants. (MB)
