IDA's €2.5m Mullingar Contract Underway

The main contractor has been appointed for substantial works involved in the construction of the Industrial Development Authority's (IDA) facility at Mullingar.

Preparation work commenced on site during late June and the contract period is estimated at eight months with the cost of the scheme being in the region of €2.5 million.

Approx 160m of single carriageway industrial estate roadway including construction of footpaths, lining and signage are all part of Phase 2, the Infrastructure Work.

The development comprises the construction of a single carriageway industrial estate roadway including construction of footpaths, lining and signage.

Construction of foul and surface water drainage infrastructure and the building of the utility infrastructure including public lighting are also included.

Some 1,200 square metres of carriageway including boundary treatments are involved in the scheme along with construction of surface and foul water drainage infrastructure.

The consulting engineer is Arup Consulting Engineers and the main contractor has been revealed as Priority Construction Ltd.
