'Weakest Link' Special Olympics Quiz On Way

Irish pop band Boyzone have added their support to a major Special Olympics event taking place this Saturday - by putting two exclusive tickets and rare backstage passes to their forthcoming Belfast concert up for grabs.

The pair of tickets joins a raft of other must-have prizes at the highly anticipated 'Anne Robinson Experience' which takes place at the Europa Hotel, Belfast and invites guests to pit their wits against the infamous Weakest Link host.

The one-off evening will be presented by local broadcaster and Special Olympics Patron, Gerry Kelly, pictured here with James McGinn, the Europa Hotel's General Manager and Ronan McCay from Special Olympics Ireland to unveil the event.

Also included is a fine dining and live entertainment experience with music from the James Peake Xperience with all proceeds going towards supporting the charity in the Ulster Region.

Established in 1978, Special Olympics Ireland enables more than 11,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities to lead healthy lives and realise their potential through participation in sport.

Event compère Gerry Kelly said Belfast was set for an evening unlike any other: "It's a great pleasure for me to be involved and I'm looking forward to the banter on the evening. Northern Ireland has staged some really big events this year, but few can boast a line-up to rival the quality of the Anne Robinson Experience."

Tickets are available now from £50 per person or £500 for a table of ten. For further details, you can contact Ronan McCay on 028 9089 2996 or e-mail ronan.mccay@specialolympics.ie
