Infinet Design scoops Princes Trust award

Infinet Design has been named as The Prince’s Trust “Business of the Year 2001” for Northern Ireland in a recent presentation in Lagan Valley Island in Lisburn.

Despite recent difficulties in the global ICT and telecoms industry, Infinet Design has managed to keep pace with industry changes.

Managing Director, Laoise Davidson, said: “Although this year has not been an easy one for the IT industry, things are beginning to change. We believe that companies like Infinet Design, who offer clients value-driven solutions and good customer support, are the ones which will prosper in the new, trimmed back economy.”

The company were given the award on the basis of having good financial management, careful control of business operations and delivering real customer value.

“Self-belief is important”, added Ms Davidson. “The Prince’s Trust provides excellent support and a business mentor who can be instrumental in the success of the business. Rule number two is to never be afraid to ask.

“Whether it is for new business, to be paid on time or to get a loan from the bank, don’t fret or procrastinate, just get on with it. It is very easy to get bogged down and to lose sight; keep focused on your goals, both long term and short”.

The company now has the opportunity to go on to compete in the UK finals in Spring 2002. (CL)
