Jobs Lost At Timber Company
Fifty jobs are to go in Co Clare after an announcement by a lumber firm this morning. Finsa Forrest Products in Scarriff is seeking voluntary redundancies among its staff of 86 in what is seen as a major blow to the east Clare economy.
The chip-board and timber products manufacturing company has downsized significantly in recent years and has now announced a restructuring process due to a decline in demand from its clients in the building trade.
