Rotary link up with Egyptian firm

Rotary (International) Ltd of Newtownabbey has signed a memorandum of understanding with an engineering company in Egypt as a result of assistance from Trade Partners UK.

The agreement will enable the two companies to bid jointly for future projects including a hotel development in the Red Sea and consortium-led ventures to finance, build and operate points.

The company, which specialises in electro-mechanical equipment such as air conditioning systems, responded to a Trade Partners UK sales lead placed by the British Embassy in Cairo on behalf of ENCO, the Egyptian engineering company.

Rotary visited Egypt in February this year to discuss the companies’ respective capabilities as engineers, contractors and installers of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, communication, plumbing and electrical services.

Rotary already exports to the Middle and Far East and has a current turnover in excess of £15 million. (MB)
