Britney Spears Announces Belfast Date
If you thought the superstar bookings were all wrapped up for this year, well, you'd be wrong, as pop coquette Britney Spears announces a Belfast date.
The blonde atom-bombshell, who has taken up more newspaper column inches in the past 10 years than all that dreary business in the Middle East, is heading to the capital on October 25. Spears, who turns 30 next year, recently released her seventh studio album, Femme Fatale.
It debuted at number one in the US, adding to her tally of nearly 70 million albums worldwide since her debut in 1999.
The concert will see Britney performing 21 of her most popular songs along with two surprise tracks.
Speaking about the British Isles leg of the tour, Britney said: "I can't wait to come back to the UK and perform for my fans there, it's been too long!"
Tickets go on sale beginning Friday 10th June at Ticketmaster.ie priced from €54.80 / £55.
