Glasgowbury Countdown Begins
The Glasgowbury festival is quickly approaching, and the organisers have released the full details of the acts appearing.
As previously announced Cashier No 9, The Answer, Phil Kieran and Foy Vance are among this year's headline acts while others such as LaFaro, Mojo Fury, Boxcutter, Axis Of, (pictured) Rainy Boy Sleep and Paddy Nash are among the Saturday 23rd July line-up.
There will also be the introduction of our first ever comedy tent this year with headliners including Joe Rooney, John Colleary and Colin Geddis.
There will also be a province wide bus service helping everyone to get to the Draperstown festival safe and on time.
Chambers Coach Hire will be running a return bus service from areas across the province. To organise a pick-up in your area call the service on 028 2764 1880.
The buses will depart Friday afternoon and return everyone home on Sunday morning - hassle free.
They will also be running a day return service from Belfast departing early Saturday morning and returning later that night.
Organisers have also announced an official 2011 compilation CD featuring 17 tracks from the great and good of local music including Cashier No 9, Paul Shevlin, Rainy Boy Sleep, Phil Kieran and many more.
Tickets for this year's festival are on sale now from HMVtickets.com and from HMV stores Ireland wide and have been capped at last year's prices of just £30 (festival only) and £40 (festival and camping).

Local Theatre Talent Set For Edinburgh Festival
Three local theatre groups are due to perform at the Edinburgh International Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe later this month. With the support of the Arts Council and British Council of Northern Ireland, the arts organisations will stage productions that showcase some of the best of local talent at the popular festivals.

15-Year-Old Arrested Following Stabbing In Lisburn
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 14-year-old in the Knockmore Road area of Lisburn last night, Monday 25th March. Police have said that at approximately 7.40pm on Monday 25 March, a 14-year-old boy had been approached by a group of teenagers, before being stabbed in the lower back.

25-Year-Old Charged With Murder Of Bobbie McKee
A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of Bobbie McKee in Kilkeel. Mr McKee (69) died shortly after being found seriously injured at his home in the Newcastle Road area on Thursday 21 March. The man has also been charged with the attempted murder of Mr McKee's wife, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.
