'Master Builder of the Year' Award For NI

A Co Down building company has been named as the UK's top construction firm for 2011.

FJ Charleton Building Contracts Ltd from Ballymartin has taken the accolade in the Master Builder of the Year Awards, run by the largest trade association in the UK building industry's Federation of Master Builders (FMB).

Celebrating the best builders in the UK, the FMB said: "We know they're the best builders because it's the clients that have nominated them for the award; which is what makes the Master Builder of the Year awards so special."

This year Phil Spencer of Channel 4 'Location, Location, Location made the announcement. This is the first time in the 10 year history of the awards that the winning builder has come from Northern Ireland, which is a fantastic recognition and celebration of the quality workmanship in the province.

FJ Charleton Building Contracts Ltd won a brand new Nissan Light Commercial vehicle of their choice, worth up to £20,000, provided by the principal partner of the Award, Nissan.

David Charleton of FJ Charleton Building Contracts Ltd will be collecting his brand new Nissan Navara from Donnelly and Taggart Nissan on Tuesday 26th July 2011.
