Talented Belfast 'Is Tamed'

A brand new mixed-arts and culture project called 'Tame' has been launched, where anyone with talent can share it with a willing audience

Through regular events in the Black Box Belfast, organiser of Tame said they are hoping to provide Northern Irish 'creatives' with an opportunity to promote their talents and skills in any creative platform.

Each Tame event consists of five main acts, each of whom have been carefully selected and designated one half-hour slot, depending on their creativity, entertainment and passion for the arts.

There are also many smaller performance and exhibition opportunities for acts such as street performers, magicians and artists.

A spokesperson for the event said: "We feel that local talent needs an entirely new platform of exposure, which compliments the professional and committed approach that our creatives consistently apply to their work.

"Tame is proud to be the newest, boldest and most exciting opportunity for local creative acts, and each Tame show is guaranteed to promote the newest, boldest and most exciting Northern Irish creative art."

The next two Tame shows take place on Friday August 5 and Thursday September 15. Organisers are in the application stage for the shows, so there is still an opportunity to perform in the events provided you act quickly.

Musicians, bands, performers, theatre practitioners, theatre groups, artists, singers, street performers, magicians, illusionists, clowns, face painters and comedians are all welcome to get involved.

If you are interested in performing at Tame, or would like to find out more about the show, you can contact them on at info.tameshow@gmail.com or call Andrew on 07805187698, You can also visit them at www.tameshow.co.uk or www.facebook.com/tameshow.
