Cork Insulation Company Opens Door To Jobs
Cork based Insulation company, Insulex has recently secured the contract to install external insulation and replace all doors and windows at two schools, St Colmans College in Fermoy, Cork and Scoil na Deise in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
Insulex was successful in its bid to install external insulation and the replacment of all doors and windows to both schools following a competitive tendering process. This has led to the creation of 14 new jobs to complete this work.
According to Martin McCarthy, Director, Insulex is pleased with this new contract: "We are delighted to be taking on new staff in these challenging times and these two new contracts will help us expand as part of our overall growth strategy."
Founded in 2003, Insulex Insulation has grown and developed over the years to become one of the most recognised Insulation contractors in the Munster area. Insulex has a proven track record as a one-stop-shop and can provide the complete package for all insulation requirements.
Work on both schools will start immediately and will take 8 weeks to complete. Staff will be hired locally in both locations, Cork and Dungarvan.

Rising costs sees Powergen announce price hikes
Powergen has announced price hikes for electricity and gas customers due to "unparalleled" rises in wholesale costs, it has emerged today. The energy company confirmed today that it will increase electricity prices by 8.9% and gas prices by 9.6% for the majority of its residential customers. The changes will be effective from November 29.

Purepipe To Invest £250,000 And Create Six New Jobs
Belfast-based Purepipe is investing £250,000 and creating six new jobs as part of plans to boost sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland has offered the company £45,000 towards its expansion which involves investing in new state-of-the-art specialised pipe manufacturing equipment needed to target new business.
