Iron Maiden Rocks Odyssey
Rock legends Iron Maiden are returning to Belfast for the first time since 1993 with their Final Frontier World Tour 2011 at Odyssey Arena tomorrow night, Wednesday (8pm). The shows will be the culmination of The Final Frontier World Tour, which began in June 2010 with a hugely successful 25-date tour throughout North America, followed by selected European stadium and festival shows. Maiden founder member Steve Harris commented: "We intend to take the full stadium show into the UK arenas and fit everything we possibly can into each venue. The set list will be different to this year's tour. Of course we will play more songs from the new album and some other recent material, but we intend to include a healthy dose of older fan favourites too for those who haven't seen us before, plus a spectacular light show and stage set," he said.

Belfast Backs Business
Belfast City Council's latest business development programme aims to help local companies identify sales opportunities within the public and private sectors. The Smarter Procurement Programme will target small businesses and social enterprises that have the desire to bid for contracts in both sectors but lack the knowledge and experience of the tendering process. The programme is open to 10 companies within the Belfast City Council area and will include tailored workshops and mentoring. Five tendering workshops will focus on developing the individual business's knowledge and ability to respond to procurement opportunities. A Selling Skills Workshop will further boost the participants’ sales skills needed for each stage of the tendering process. Participants in the programme will also be allocated an experienced business mentor to provide practical support as well as identify and target new customers.
