Sunflower Fest Full Line-Up Revealed
The full line-up for this year's three day Sunflowerfest has been revealed ahead of the event taking place next weekend.
The festival of music, art and more will be held in at Tubby's Farm, 31 Cabra Road, Hillsborough on the weekend of 19 - 21 August with an eclectic mix of Rock, Alternative, Acoustic, Pop, Dance, Reggae, World Music, Punk, Ska, Traditional, Funk, Soul, Gospel, Metal, Hip Hop, Americana, Rockabilly, Celtic Fusion and Folk.
The family friendly event is now in its second year and although organisers are encouraging people to stay for the whole weekend, and stay over, but it’s also possible to just pick up a ticket for your favourite day.
Tickets are on sale though the official website - and at HMV, The Rusty Zip and The Belfast Welcome Centre (Belfast), HMV and Molly's Parlour (Lisburn) and also the NITB office in Hillsborough. Both weekend and day tickets are available - with the weekend camping ticket being our best value offer - £45 for the weekend, working out at £15 per day, including camping.
Friday will be headlined by MojoFury, Saturday by Not Squares and Sunday by Duke Special and Cashier No.9.

Prison Heritage Opens-up

Record Breaking Crowds Attend The Open
The amount of people flocking to Royal Portrush to witness golfing history at The 148th Open this week has set a new attendance record for a Championship staged outside St Andrews. Practice days alone have pulled in 61,000 fans, surpassing the previous high of 52,000 set at Hoylake in 2006.

Belfast Celebrates St Patrick's Day With 17-Day Programme
Belfast is gearing up for a 17-day celebration of St Patrick's Day, with a packed programme of events and cultural activities running from 01–17 March. The annual St Patrick's Day parade will take place on Monday, March 17th, starting at City Hall at 1:30 pm.

'Plan Ahead' For St Patrick's Day Events This Weekend
Belfast City Council has outlined traffic and travel arrangements ahead of this Sunday's St Patrick's Day event in Belfast. A number of traffic diversions will be in place in and around Belfast city centre. Visitors and participants are advised to plan their journey in advance and leave extra time to travel to and from the city centre.
