Dublin Receives Boost Of 150 Jobs

A finance company has announced 150 new jobs for Dublin.

Arvato Finance is to create the jobs in its finance division over the next three years.

Up to 30 vacancies are currently available and the upcoming jobs are in the areas of IT, consulting, finance and accounting, project management and customer service.

Arvato already employs 1,200 people in Ireland across its global finance BPO and IT/high-tech services.

Making the announcement today, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said Arvato makes a very valuable contribution to the business services sector in Ireland.

He said:"I would like to congratulate the company as it celebrates its 15 year anniversary in Dublin and offer my Government’s support as it builds its presence further".

Barry O’Leary, chief executive of IDA Ireland said:"Arvato has had a significant impact on the Irish business community, both by supporting businesses and through its employment, but also in its commitment to CSR programmes and wider initiatives to invest in the region’s ongoing success".

Arvato Finance To Deliver 100 New Jobs
Arvato Finance today announced that it will be delivering on its promise of 100 new jobs in Ireland, two years ahead of schedule. This brings the total number of jobs to 150 and to facilitate the expansion, the company will be moving to Dublin's Eastpoint Business Park.

Small Businesses Offered £110m Boost
Small businesses struggling to access credit are to be given a welcome boost with £110 million of new funding, Vince Cable announced today. The Business Secretary pledged £55 million of Government funding – through a scheme called the Business Finance Partnership – to peer to peer lenders and other finance suppliers.

RBS To Offshore 58 UK Customer Service Jobs
RBS is still addicted to offshoring UK banking jobs, according to Unite the union, following the announcement that 58 customer service jobs are earmarked to go abroad. Unite condemned the latest restructuring exercise which will adversely hit staff working in wealth payments in London and lending operations in Manchester.

EE Creates 250 Jobs In NI
Alliance Finance spokesperson, Judith Cochrane MLA, has welcomed the announcement that mobile phone company EE will be creating 250 jobs in Northern Ireland in a number of customer service roles. Judith Cochrane MLA said: "This is great news that another 250 jobs will be created in Northern Ireland.

Future Finance Announces 50 New Jobs
Future Finance, the Dublin-based specialist student lender, today announced its intention to create a further 50 new positions over two years, in addition to the 48 it currently employs, as it expands its business across Europe, including in Ireland.
