Deck25 Decking Goes Clubbing

One of the largest roof top beer gardens in Northern Ireland has been completely refurbished.

The popular Sugar Nite Club which has a capacity for 500, is part of the Downey multi level bar complex on Shipquay Street in Derry City.

As part of the refurbishment a 200m2 low maintenance, anti-slip decking was installed. Deck25 plastic composite decking was chosen for this project because of it’s low maintenance properties, will never require painting, has excellent durability and has exceptional anti-slip properties.

The Deck25 plastic composite decking replaces a timber deck that was installed less than four years previous. The timber decking required considerable ongoing maintenance and became very slippery when wet.

The Sugar Nite Club achieves a very contemporary look, by combining the colours: Designer Black and Silver Grey. The Designer Black was used to create borders and geometric patterns in the decking which contrast against the main deck colour of Silver Grey to create a stunning effect.

Deck25 is a 90% recycled eco product. It is made from recycled plastic bottles and wood fibre and is solid throughout the 25mm board.
