Casting Call Announced For MTV Tickets

MTV has announced it will be conducting a search for more than 1,500 Northern Ireland music fans to be part of the 2011 MTV EMAs, taking place in Belfast's Odyssey Arena, on 6 November.

Hopefuls need to go to the Waterfront Hall at 8am on Sunday October 30, where MTV spotters will be casting fans over the age of 16 who can prove that they are "effervescent, and energetic".

The successful candidates will be given one standing or seated ticket and will get the opportunity to get up close to some of the biggest pop stars in the world by lining the red carpet.

Prospective crowd members must be over 16 and be able to show either a drivers' licence or a passport. They must be "dynamic, confident and effervescent with a clear love of a wide variety of music" and unusually, "be happy to follow clear instructions".

Richard Godfrey, Executive Producer, 2011 MTV EMA said: "Our priority is ensuring that as many Northern Irish music fans as possible can be part of the 2011 MTV EMA so we’re looking for anyone with lots of enthusiasm to literally be part of the ceremony.

"The search will be open to anyone that is over 16, but there’' no upper age limit – we're just looking for fun, charismatic people that love music as much as we do."
