NI Property Prices Still In Decline
Property prices in Northern Ireland are continuing to fall launching the housing price downturn into its sixth consecutive year.
According to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Northern Ireland house prices are expected to continue to fall in the first three months of 2012.
The survey carried out by RICS first reported a negative balance in the housing sector in August 2007.
Tom McClelland of RICS said that financial difficulties and public spending cuts would more than likely continue to impact on the NI market leading to the NI housing Market experiencing large variation.
He did however claim that those willing to sell their homes at prices in line with the current economic climate would achieve sales.
