Legal Arguments In UVF Trial Internet Bound
It has been proposed that legal arguments from the controversial UVF trial concerning the murder of Tommy English and other terror crimes will be published online.
Mr Justice Gillen suggested the move to ensure proper access to the judicial process and with the agreement of counsel legal arguments will be available via the Internet.
Any resulting judgments or rulings could also be published.
It is understood that arguments will be published that have been considered in the court but not always by the public.
Mr Justice Gillen is presiding over the so-called super grass trial which sees 14 defendants implicated in a number of UVF crimes and nine of the defended are charged with the murder of UDA chief Tommy English 12 years ago.
