Five Arrested Over Lurgan Burglary
Five men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary in County Armagh. It happened close to an engineering factory at Annesborough Road, Lurgan, on Tuesday. The men, aged 23, 34, 42, 47 and 48, were arrested in the area at about 21:05 GMT.Police said they were being questioned by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch.
Teen Killed In Dublin Shooting
A teenage girl has died in a shooting in Dublin.She was one of four people sitting in a car in the Brookfield estate in Tallaght at about 22:30 on Tuesday. Irish police believe another car pulled up beside the car she was in and shots were fired.It is thought she was shot in the head. She was taken to hospital where she died. Police have launched an inquiry.
Two NI Firms Fined After Fatality In Brentford
Two Northern Ireland based construction companies have been fined a total of £65,000 after a man was killed when a steel beam weighing more than a tonne fell on him while it was being unloaded from a lorry.Fisher Engineering Ltd and CM Structural Services Ltd had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to breaching Section 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 over the June 2008 incident.The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) announced its intention to prosecute the two companies as a result of the incident which resulted in the death of a French national Hugues Makambila, 35 who was working as a cleaner on the construction site at Harlequin Avenue, Brentford.

Man Arrested After Shots Fired In North Belfast
Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting incident in north Belfast. It is understood that the 22-year-old man was arrested following reports of shots being fired on Oceanic Avenue at about 21:50 on Thursday. Police say that a parked car was damaged in the incident.

PSNI Appeal For Information About West Belfast Shooting
The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

Five people have been arrested after shots were fired at a house in Newry. The attack happened in the Altmore Gardens area at around 9.20pm on Monday, 26 March. A car pulled up outside the house and fired shots that caused damage to the front window. No-one was injured in the shooting.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.
