30 News Jobs For Waterford Welcomed

Labour T.D. for Waterford, Ciara Conway is welcoming the news that a local Waterford employer has teamed up with an American company to bring 30 new jobs to the South East.

Rigney Dolphin is working with the renowned Cleveland Clinic in the U.S. and the pairing will see jobs opening up for clinical and support staff based in Waterford.

The posts will involve providing a range of patient management, patient outreach and tele-health services across Europe and the United States.

"I'm delighted to congratulate Rigney Dolphin on this international collaboration," said Ciara Conway.

"Rigney Dolphin is a homegrown company and here we have a fine example of a successful international partnership that is building on expertise from both sides of the Atlantic.

"Thirty new jobs have just been announced, but I believe there are more in the pipeline.

"This just goes to show how valuable that special relationship between Ireland and the States is. Enterprise Ireland has supported Rigney Dolphin, and it's paying off.

"The Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Eamon Gilmore has told me that his recent trip to the US with the Taoiseach and the Jobs and Enterprise Minister was very informative and worthwhile."
