Musgrave Invest £1m In Its MarketPlace Brand
Northern Ireland's food and retail wholesaler Musgrave has announced a £1 million investment in its local MarketPlace brand and business network in 2012.
This will include the redevelopment of local depots including the new 20,000sq ft Musgrave MarketPlace Cash & Carry in Enniskillen, which opened today.
Michael Stafford, Director, Musgrave MarketPlace commented: "We are delighted to be investing in our Northern Ireland business network this year. As a company Musgrave is committed to the growth and development of our business locally, and ensuring that local retail and foodservice operators can benefit from a comprehensive great value offering. This investment also further demonstrates our commitment to securing and protecting jobs within our branch areas."
Located in Killyhevlin Industrial Estate, Enniskillen this is the fourth branch in the Musgrave wholesale network to undergo redevelopment and is well positioned to service all retail and foodservice businesses in the west of the province.
Commenting on the redevelopment of Musgrave MarketPlace Enniskillen, Feargal Owens, General Manager said: "The branch has been transformed with an innovative, customer-friendly layout that has seen the introduction of exciting new product ranges with a particular emphasis on chilled and frozen products. Product ranges have been developed with authentic products sourced directly from the far east for Asian restaurants, an expanded fresh fruit and vegetable range, fresh daily essential produce, new fresh meat ranges, an extensive fast food offering, a new range of catering equipment and extensive own brand product portfolio which offers a quality match to brand leaders and 15% cheaper. We have also put systems in place to ensure consistently high product availability."
