Six Arrested At Derry Rally Released

The six men arrested at a dissident rally in Londonderry over the weekend have been released without charge.

The men had been questioned after a rally in the City Cemetery on Monday.

During the rally a masked member of the Real IRA threatened further attacks against the police.

He claimed to be speaking on behalf of the organisation Óglaigh na hÉireann and said they would continue to attack "Crown forces" and "British interests and infrastructure".

The arrested men had been taken to Antrim police station for questioning.

Several hundred people attended the event during which the masked man read out the statement.
